Quality and Research

The secret of Indaco S.p.A.’s success lies in a strict total quality policy that translates into highly skilled and constantly updated staff, use of cutting edge technologies and a modern Research & Development laboratory.

We carry out rigorous quality control tests that guarantee compliance with all health and hygiene regulations. Our specialised technicians work side-by-side with our clients from the very start of the product planning phase in order to achieve the common goal of meeting the best quality standards.
Both the company set up and the manufacturing process are in line with HACCP requirements that are mandatory for all food industries. However, for the ongoing improvement of standards Indaco also abides by the standards set by some of the main internationally recognised certification bodies.
In practice, Indaco holds:
The authorisation granted by the Italian Ministry of Health for the making of food for special diets (e.g. dietary products); this certification allows Indaco to produce sugar-free candies and chewing gum or sweets with added vitamins and minerals;

ISO 9001:2000

A quality management standard that guarantees a management system that regulates all aspects of the production process, going all the way from raw materials to finished products, and also covers services provided to the client.

ISO 14001:2004

An environmental management standard that guarantees commitment towards the protection of natural resources in addition to the adoption of strategic decisions that limit direct and indirect impacts on the environment resulting from manufacturing activities.

IFS and BRC

Specific standards for food processes and products that are internationally recognised as a guarantee of the absence of chemical, physical and microbiological hazard

INDACO cooperates with major international clients in the production of Kosher products according to the rules of the Jewish community around the world. In these cases production is made possible thanks to the supervision of a rabbi who ascertains that both raw materials and production stages comply with specific quality and health & hygiene standards. More specifically, the rabbi ascertains that products do not include any ingredients or additives that originate from animal fat, fish, milk by-products and ethyl alcohol from wine, and that they are not used within the premises or production facilities.

Another key element is the attention that Indaco dedicates to the Research & Development of new products.  This attention translates into the:

Ongoing improvement of current production activities

Development of new formulas and recipes

Specific development of new products in collaboration with the Clientele.
